Job sat in the judge’s seat
Satan took defence
God commanded for his deeds
He must make recompense
Job said “Are you not the one
Responsible for this?
Didn’t you cause my suffering?”
The devil smiled, “Yes”
A rich man came to take the stand
His judges they were many
While he’d prospered in his wealth
They did not have any
They had sold their very souls
To put bread on the plate
He had left his wealth behind
As he stood at Hell’s gate
Moses was the next to judge
And Darwin hid from sight
For he had shunned the Genesis
To keep men from its light
Moses said, “I showed the way
With scripture from the Lord
Evolution’s twisted system
Never came from God!”
The Pharisees and all their kind
Were last to take the stand
While people tried to do their best
They ruled with iron hand
Moses said, “God wrote the Law
And made it set in stone
You hypocrites, you brood of snakes
Your laws will judge your own!”
Be careful what you do and say
And not just to save face
For God will have His Judgement Day
And put you in your place…
