She walks out of the Subway train
Looks around for a chance to guess where
The north is
Thinks on the 5th the cars move South
But is this really where I'm going
Keeps following the crowd
She looks east and looks west
She thinks she knows the rest
But it's hard to confess
When you're lost and you know the place
Well it might just be the case
Nothing seems to be missing here
He's got the job the car the girlfriend
Who tells him he looks nice
But what about that thing he felt
Will it let him get discouraged?
He better loose that frown
He looks out through the glass
Lonely sidewalks crowded out
He won't find any light
He's been taught to use his eyes
And that might just be the lie
Don't go chasing rainbows ends
Thats what they say
But what about that aching feeling
Of leaving all of that behind
Well that might just be the heart
That might just be the heart
